See Differences Between Panerai Replica and Real

This will be a simple introduction article from my new series of differences between the real watches and the fake watches. I picked this Panerai Luminor Arktos GMT fake watch for this first article because it’s a very clear example of what I wand to show here.

Differences between Panerai replica and real Panerai watches are sometimes very few if any simply because Panerai replica watches are easy to replicate due to their simple and clean design and features. Even though I picked a more elaborate model that’s a really good candidate and clearly a very good copy.

There are so many Panerai replicas on the market that it’s hard to determine that’s the name of a particular one. For example, this one isn’t an exact a fake Panerai Luminor Submersible because these watches don’t have a power reserve indicator. It features a black dial with running seconds located at 9 o’clock, the power reserve indicator I was telling you about, at 5 o’clock and a date window at 3. Like in the case of other Panerai watches, the hour and minute hands are big and easy to notice. Also, the lume has a white-yellow tint. The hours are marked as dots, and only the  12 and the 6 appear as a II and an I.

Regarding the looks and feel, I can easily say that this watch replicates even the tiniest detail you will find on the authentic piece. One element that looks slightly different is the color of the strap. The one on the original is a lighter brown, while this is just a hint darker. Besides this, it’s close to perfection.

Even the back of the case looks like the original and, usually, from my experience, the back cases aren’t given importance. This one is pretty detailed, so I wouldn’t be afraid to show someone that known Panerai watches the back case. The weight of the watch feels right and its size as well. It’s one of those bulky watches that I have a thing for.
